Honey Dijon Salmon

מתכון סלמון חרדל ודבש

 

 

Ingredients:

1.2 kg (2.6 lbs.) of salmon fillet cut into six equal portions

3 tablespoons smooth Dijon mustard

5 tablespoons pure honey

2 cloves crushed garlic

1/2 teaspoon dry thyme or a sprig of fresh thyme

1/2 teaspoon salt

A pinch of hot chili pepper

1/2 cup of white wine

3 tablespoons olive oil

100 grams (3.5 oz.) chopped walnuts

 

 

Instructions:

Smear a teaspoon of olive oil on a baking paper and place the salmon pieces apart from each other.

Combine the rest of the ingredients except the walnuts to form a marinade with smooth consistency. Spread the marinade generously on each portion of salmon and sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top.

Preheat oven to 200 C (400 F) and broil for 9-11 minutes only.

 

Serving Suggestion:

Serve on a bed of rice with carrots, raisins and scallions
